Fifi leaves her cozy home behind and goes "on the prowl."  She has her sharp teeth but she's going to meet some critters who have a few tricks of their own!

Are you sure you wanna do that, Fifi?

"I think I better find somebody who's not so STINKY!!" says Fifi!

Some days it just goes from bad to worse, doesn't it!

This is a picture of Clifford, the dog Lucas had in mind when he was writing Fifi the Ferocious.  Clifford was a bichon frise (NOT a poodle!) and belonged to Lucas' sister-in-law.  

"Clifford was the epitome of the lapdog who thought he was a human," says Lucas.  "I'm not sure if he had the sense of adventure that Fifi does, though.  He was afraid of silverware so I imagine he'd flee at the sight of any of the animals Fifi encounters!"  It's true, if you put a fork or spoon in his dog bowl, Clifford would whine and bark at it until you took it away!!
