"We're at the San Antonio zoo a couple weeks ago. We see the eagle and Jake starts in about this woman named Rachel Carson.  His buddy says, "who?" and Jake says "You obviously haven't heard the Lucas Miller song!" He proceeds to tell about farmers using DDT and poisoning the ground and rain and runoff and poisoned fish and eagles eating fish and dead eagles and how Rachel went to Washington and talked to the president and now farmers can't use that stuff and eagles are no longer endangered because they're our national bird, you know, and if they all died, we wouldn't have anymore national birds and....you can see how it went from there.  You are truly an artist (we know this whenever we jam out to your CD's), however, you are also an awesome teacher who has a gifted ability to interest children in all that is precious around them. Thank you, again, for your work."

"Your CDs give me a way to introduce new concepts to our son!  I would have never thought to mention to him about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores!  I appreciate all of your effort and talent that you have put into your CDs and books!  This helps kids know that learning can be and is fun and also very interesting!

"I was driving along today listening to your music (because my kids ask for it constantly) and I gotta say, I am working so hard to teach my kids,
especially the 6 year old, that his actions have direct results and reactions in the universe (and the environment) and your music goes such a long way to making my point. It's a gift.  What a service and a difference you are making in the lives of our young people. I am so glad you are able to do this and have made it your mission. Keep up the great work. And anyone who can rhyme 'symbiosis' with anything, but especially 'cinnamon toast-sticks' gets my vote for most cool dude."

"I just wanted to compliment you on your excellent performance today. Your style and medium are perfect for educating the youth, and your lessons transcend the bounds of facts and figures to important issues of responsible and compassionate living, in a world containing more than just humanity.  I fervently hope that you continue spreading your message to children, and sincerely believe that people like you are some of the noblest and greatest of all, for you work not solely for
yourself, but instead for the improvement of all, by providing information concerning the ways of nature. This helps everyone lead happy lives in harmony with the natural world."

I like this CD as much as my kids do, although our favorite songs are different! Love the fact that now my 7 and 5 year olds know what an herbivore, carnivore and omnivore are. I also like the fact that the songs can be interpreted on many levels. Leads to some wonderful talks with my children. Lucas' best yet!

This CD, as well as the other Mr. Miller's two others, will keep everyone in the family entertained. Not only is it great music to listen to, the message is so good and so important. My kids have learned things through these songs about habitat destruction, animal behavior and good environmental stewardship. And it makes great traveling music!

I originally bought the CD for my two-year old for Christmas, but couldn't wait to open it and listen to it myself! He loves listening to all the funny words and dancing around to the great music. His favorite is "Stinky, Stinky Little Skunkie"!

This cd is absolutely hilarious as well as educational. What a combination! The tunes are very catchy. I even found myself humming/singing several of the songs over the weekend on a hike that I went on with a friend of mine. It was quite a site...two adults romping through the forest singing these tunes.
